No. Drop in the song and your takes together and MVX syncs each performance take to the song by finding the song in the take’s audio. A take that covers only part of the song lands where it belongs. Clips with no song in their audio are sorted as B-roll. If auto-sync can’t run, MVX stacks your takes and asks you to use Premiere’s Synchronize (by audio) instead. It syncs from the song in each take’s own audio, so sound recorded separately, like a field recorder, isn’t synced by MVX.
